The Strand Hair Salon

40/60 Photo
View much bigger & on black
Met up with The Strand again to shoot some pictures for their next news paper ad. It's going to be on the cover of our local shoppers guide, really stoked about that.
You may remember their shoot from this past summer. We just had to top it. I had so much fun with this shoot. Like always, they are amazing to work with.
I think we were able to do that in this shoot. I was really happy about this shot and so were they. Totally shows their personality, all in one shot!

Forget Tomorrow

Mo' Betta - big on black
Took the drive to New Haven, CT the other day. Forget Tomorrow was telling me about the location that they wanted to shoot at and it sounded really interested. I couldn't wait to get there and check it out in person.
We shot right at the top of East Rock State Park. If you are in the area, you should definitely go up there to check out the amazing view, you can see all of New Haven and all the way into the Ocean. The sight was breathtaking. Probably one of the best places to watch a sunset.
These guys were a pleasure to shoot. Very easy to work with and we all had a great time.
I was able to use my DIY Gel's that I made for this shot. Really happy with them. Those who follow me on twitter know that I was toying with the idea of trying out a few ideas. I'll post the How-To on my blog as soon as I can!

Glad that I could do a different perspective and think it worked well, because we were able to get some of that view.

The Heartless
Shrewsbury, MA | blog.peteyphotography.com

Spent some of the evening with The Heartless
They are a band created out of other area bands. Bringing in talent from different parts of MA. They are recording right now and booking shows, I believe. I had a great time, they're always hilarious to hang out with and shoot!
You guys might recognize some members from the "Here To Stay" promo's I did earlier this year.
I wanted to try something a bit different with this shot. Long exposure, etc.
