It looks like one of those long straight things with those nobs on the end. Q-Tips, I think they're called.

      are you sure?

    20. TheFlyingEye (14 months ago | reply)

Why on earth would you take this down, or ONLY keep it up temporarily? Awesome pic.

I don't care if it's a llama, alpaca, or a Muppet, that thing is funny..

    21. CLM98 (14 months ago | reply)

Please, please, please make this available as a desktop background! It makes me belly laugh every time I see it. It also makes me feel guilty for loving alpaca yarn but I can live with that.

      Hey,

What does temporary mean in your personal dictionary, it is 2012.

    24. nels2187 (13 months ago | reply)

      that's hot

    25. yelloworangered (12 months ago | reply)

I think it's wrong to do that to llamas...it makes them look like poodles and they might'nt like that for all we know..

As a believer in reincarnation I'd just like to say that if this isn't my old Social Studies teacher, Mr. Garin come back as a llama, I'll eat my tinfoil hat!

Yup. Alpacas are sheared for their fibre, like this, as the head area doesn't have long enough fibre for use. Also, llamas have long, banana-shaped ears, alpacas have small triangular ears. This has small ears. Llamas hsve bare legs, alpacas have fibre all the way down. This obe has fibre left on its lower legs. :-)

Well, people seemed to like this picture so much I decided not to be temporary with it.

Do you know that this shot is very popular on Pinterest? I have it on one of my boards. It's striking and amusing.
