CRW_7984-01ps by monkeyking / Peter.
November Sunday in Hou Hai, Beijing.

I've seen people practising calligraphy with water before but this guy is simultaneously writing with left and right hands, and with the left hand he's writing the mirror image of the characters on the right. I would imagine that's not as easy as it looks, even if I could write Chinese!

Wow .. This is really intriguing .. it would be so hard doing it simultaneously.. let alone mirror it.

I am glad you appreciate how hard it must be. I wasn't sure I explained it well. It's amazing!

This is excellent. I'm not quite sure how useful a skill it is, but it's excellent nonetheless. I've just realised how weird it is that these people never seem to ask for money; I'm sure if they put a hat down the tourists would give them something.

And the characters are really neat!
These people don't practise to collect money! It's done in the same spirit as the practise of Taiji.
