They say that Los Angeles has a lot of freeways, and that's true, but NYC is the only place I've been too, that builds parks, and leisure lookouts over them. The Brooklyn Height promenade offers a great view of Lower Manhattan and is built over a span of the BQE, (Brooklyn Queens Expressway) one of the busiest highways in NYC. The fumes that you inhale to enjoy this view is almost worth it.
