This is a wonderful capture of antique knowledge!
I'd like to use the photo on a not-for-profit social enterprise I'm involved in. It is an online community for schoolchildren around the world, called rafi.ki. It is run by the charity Gemin-i and is intended to break down cultural barriers, with children communicating and collaborating on a number of different school projects.
I'd like to use your photo for the 'Resources' page - where we offer text, images and video for the users.
The photo would be seen on a page within the community, viewable only to registered teachers and students. I would, of course, put a link back to this photopage so that others can find you and your photos. Would you be happy for me to use the photo in this way?

After a year of Flickring, I suddenly thought "Bookshelves"! A great opportunity for interesting photos.
A guick search by tags left me thinking this is a great under-expoited opportunity!!! This one better than many... but please crop off that "stuff" below the shelf?
Found in a search. (?)

Hello Peter,
Lovely photo... I would be honored if you would give me permission to use this image, with credits of course, in my blog for an article on ancient wisdom vs. modern strategy (ancient wisdom shines through in the article...)
If you would like to see the blog and check out its integrity, here is the link: www.laestrategiablog.com/eng.
No matter what your answer is, thanks for sharing the photo here.
Saludos,
Jenifer
