A total eclipse of the moon

Last nights total eclipse of the moon was tricky to capture. A normal moon photo is easy as its a bright object in the sky. The problem was that when the moon was fully eclipsed it was a dull red ball in the sky. At 400mm I couldn’t really capture it in enough detail because I had to increase the ISO, which increased the noise. When I cropped the image it was just too noisy to really see any detail. After a lot of attempts I gave up and captured the process and produced this image instead. Its a combination of shots at 400mm.
