Hey there flickr, I've missed you!!!
I'm back with day ten and eleven, and I have a lot to tell you.
Yesterday's concert was... a lot different than I had expected it to be. For one, I learned that my favourite singer is far from the role model I envisioned her to be. Mariah was two hours late to her own concert, and behaved inadequately once on location, drinking tea and champagne between songs and getting her hair and makeup done on stage. However, no matter her cold which she had repeatedly referenced , Mariah was definitely in voice that night. Although I had thought that her voice worsened severely over the years, little did I know that she still had a functioning whistle register in the bag. But, possibly the most exciting part of the night was being part of her live music video shooting of 100%. Toronto sure felt honoured that night.
Annie tagged me in this and as soon as I saw it, I followed the instructions and took this self-portrait without a change of clothes - or activity for that matter. I was practising and playing this song, I believe, and quickly took this shot (well, this is the cropped version). I decided to be a bad sport and avoid tagging people in this, as it is so hard to chose merely several contacts without feeling selective.
I don't know if I like the texture or not.
I have so much homework to catch up on, and so many conflicts to resolve. I don't know why, but my worst, most uninspired days are Wednesdays. Hm...
Hope everyone had a nice middle of the week. Until later, flickr. : )
