I was trying to work again on pictures and tried with older pictures under newer aspects that life comes around the corner as surprise.

As mentioned before in the the mermaid picture, Silena is into mermaids as well as into the colour blue, so I made sure I create one including both. She wanted a mermaid warrior picture, which i found irritating at first as I see mermaids being cute sexy swimming beings. I made a fighting pose for her and she was wearing metal clothe parts on it in the shooting. I was sitting long in front of the foto and somehow nothing seemed to fit. Her face was kinda bored compared to the pose and metal in water somehow was speaking against someone fighting fast in water. So what I did was I reduced the metal and tried to bring up the speed such a creature must have. Still disturbing was her bored look. So I gave her a soft but straight facial expression. Also loved to work on the behaviour of blood in water, which is definitely different, as well as the wounds, where the blood doesn't dry.

This is the first of Silenas series, which took me several months to start. She had visions how her pictures should be like, how she wanted herself to be seen. This picture was inspired by one of Mario Wibisono's gallery pictures. As well as for the mermaid picture, I made a pose for Silena and her favourite weapon and tried to capture this very moment that came to my mind.

I think I finally made it back to be able to make pictures and did the work that was heaping up behind me. Silena was one of those waiting patiently for months I would say.
She is into mermaids, so there you go. I wanted to have this surrealistic creature be as natural as possible. Hope you like it!
