My dogs are tired.
today:
1. came across a shoe sale(!) at the local running store here in
Chilltown JC (Jersey City). Got the above pumas for $35 (marked down
from fiddy!) since one has some schmutz on it. Also got a free pair of
socks!
2. went to a primary series class at my new gym. i'm gonna stick to
the other classes and go to jivamukti.
3. met my friend jeff and then we looked at 2 apartments in the East
Village - this was one of them. www.123rentnyc.com/listing61.shtml. it looks cute, right? but it's super thin (railroad style) and
nothing special. again, dejected on the hunt for a place.
4. then jeff and i walked around for about 4 hours. along the way we
went shopping in:
- otte (otteny.com)
- innasense (innasensegems.com)
- marc by marc jacobs
- fresh
-several non-descript shoes stores
(-came across some street fair)
- marc jacobs
-lulu mcguiness
-soyluckclub.com (where i had a mock chick'n and pesto, brie and
tomato crepe. YUM.)
- shoegasm
-scoop fancy
-scoop street
-stella mcartney (BRAVO!! my new fave. but not quite sure why her
vegetarian friendly purse was $865. which i *covet*.)
-jeffrey's (where i ran into my friend seth and his wife and then bebe
neuwirth) 2nd star sighting in a week!
5. then we walked down the chelsea market and saw the biggest cupcakes
with the gooiest icing i have ever seen. did not get one. wanted to.
6. then we walked over/down to TriBeCa and had a drink and some guac
at Centrico.
then we walked back up and jeff dropped me off at the path train.
My dogs are tired.
