I took my favorite pair of old jeans, which had developed a ridiculous hole in the crotch, and transformed them into a jean skirt. I looked at about a million tutorials (google "sewing jean skirt out of jeans" and you get a ton of hits) and in the end did something kinda my own in order to preserve existing seams. It involved some hand-sewing.
And I ought to have, you know, given it an ironing before I came down to take the pictures, and the bottom hem isn't perfectly straight, but it is totally wearable! I'm thrilled!! I love these jeans so much, I'm glad I get to wear them anew.
