Photographed in the Old Town of Kashgar

Walking around the narrow alleys of Old Town Kashgar were quite possibly the highlight of my entire month-long China trip. The sandy pathways wound like mazes. Cracked and peeling doors left slightly ajar offered glimpses into peoples' lives. Kids and families we passed would stop us and ask if we would take their pictures.
I have changed a lot as a person and as a photographer since my trip and now look back on my visit and see a lot of missed opportunities. I hope to be able to return one day with a renewed vision.
