I took this shot on my way home from work. The weather was really nice today and I couldn't pass up the chance to get out during blue hour. I would have to say that blue hour is maybe my favorite time to shoot. I just love the way the sky looks and how the colors really seem to pop.

This is a shot from Monday night. It was nice to finally get a break in the rainy weather. The forecast called for scattered clouds, but it was almost totally overcast when I was shooting. I was lucky in this shot to get a bit of cloud movement. It is a fun time of year to shoot the bridges because the water level allows for a lot of great reflections.

I originally went down to the Portland waterfront to take some photos of the bridges, but this tree caught my eye. I spent a bit of time exploring different compositions looking straight up into the tree. I think this one is my favorite. I have two others that I may post sometime in the future.

This is another shot from my last trip out to Wahclella Falls. I wanted to use the curve of white water as a leading line drawing your eye to the falls. It was a little tricky getting out into the stream. The rocks seemed extra slippery this time.
