a little bit of both. i walked up and watched what fun they were having - it's one of the most perfect swimming holes i've ever seen. i waded out knee-deep with my point-and-shoot and they were more-than-happy to perform! i got some other pics that were cool as well. then i asked them all over and we laughed at each pic (they taunted each other with who's jump was best). definitely a moment were a camera brings you closer to your subject.
