Sound dampening material

Sound dampening material by Peggy Archer.
When actors walk on hard floors, the 'clicking' noise of the heels screws up sound takes - there's a felt material under the main part of the shoe, but the little crutch tips make the heels silent.

They also appear to make the shoe more stable.

You know, i hadn't even thought of that. I'll ask the shoes' actor next time I see her if it does make things more stable.

Talked to the actor who wears these shoes and according to her, they make the shoe *much* less stable, due to the rounded bottom of the crutch tip.
