Wow, what expressive colours. I like the composition. This old sign with it´s black surrounding in contrast to the house in the background is a nice idea,

What beautiful color and texture! The composition isn't as strong as it could be...if you had included a little more of the building behind the sign (possibly to the right) I think it would have been more interesting. The light play on the sign is great, showing the great detail in the sign's scroll work, but the upper right and left corner's of the frame are blown out.

I like the metro sign, and I like the Parisian house - but they seem to distract from each other here.
Still the idea was a good one, and it evokes Paris for me.

Your Metro image has come up on a Creative Commons search under images that are ok to be used for commercial purpose and work that I can adapt, modify and build upon. As a relative newcomer to Flicker and Creative Commons I just want to double check that It is ok with you to use your image for a Art Street project (non Profit) - I am looking at using the sign and making it a vector image using illustrator.
