This is a good shot, but leaving the crop suggestion doesnt help. Good exposure, nice subject. A bit too an empty dark zone in the bottom (post the other one I like better!)

I sent sometime ago a pic of neon light and has been burned down by some of our friends here, if you take this kind of pic frequently you know that they seems unsharp, simlply because light pulses, Yes I would crop, to much black, 5.5/7 from MiRea's Realm group

Neon is the coolest thing to capture and you did a great job on this one. Great colors and the black really brings it home!

Borrowing a scoring style for this round from Jimbo1239

Technical merit ... Not much other than the crop suggestion I gave, different from the one Steve refers to above ... (2/3)

Artistic merit ... With the distractions, not so much, without, I think a different story ... (1/3)

Bonus point ... (1/1) (reserved for faves, or if I really really like it)

From the MiRea's Realm Group, you are given a 4/7 ranking.

The crop is really needed here. There is far too much empty space on the bottom of the photo and glare on the frame around the light fixture is distracting.

Artistically this picture is really flat. Unless you bring in an outside component this is really a picture of a light. There is no clever reflections or intresting compostion.

From the MiRea's Realm Group, you are given a 3/7 ranking.

Great minimal shot! The colours are superb and the two figures get the attention in the photo because of the black background. Well seen and well shot!

Though its a simple photograph the colours really catch the eye
I do agree that cropping it would have made it better
