milk photos setup shot

Newer Older

The setup for the milk photos (just milk and milk + chocolate), on some the 430EX was on the left as pictured, for others it was on the right. The height of the milk also changed to try to get different angles.
I didn't use any automatic triggers, just a lot of takes! :) I used my daughter's baby bottle to make the drops.

Who made the table? That's a crucial detail.

Seriously .. you're an inspiring photographer!

    Great setup!!!

    Some questions:
    - You can attach a filter to the front of the lens while using the MR14-EX? I have a 500d closeup filter/lens.
    - Seems like you're able to wireless control a Canon 430EX as a 2nd flash?

Too bad Canon doesn't have a downloadable manual for the MR-14EX...

    Belo setup!

    Algumas perguntas:

Great setup Pedro, I've yet to try my 430EX as a slave (must try this).

    Chaval, 4hero,
The MR-14EX is interesting when it works as a master. It controls all external flashes as group "C" (A and B being both halfs of the ring itself), and you can either work in TTL setting a ratio for C from -3 to +3 stops, or you can work manually, setting the power for A, B, and C separately, from 1/64 to 1/1 in one stop increments.

This IS great!! I really like the Black and White texture that the Milk "allows" so to speak. I gotta get a MP-E65 and have some fun ;-)

    Keep it up!!

Just stumbled across this shot. Thanks for sharing your set up. For how simple these set ups are, I keep getting garbage when I dry my water drop shots.

Thanks for showing us your super duper simple set up.
