    this particular one is limited edition for Fall/Winter 2007. it's the most amazing powder I've ever used~~~ sooo shimmery! I got a new Chanel one recently too that's similar to this quality but it turned out that it's nooo where near shimmery as this!

    I did not do my ridiculously made up eyes in the other picture using this product tho~ hah~ but this is pretty good to use... it glides on easily~

    I used to have this blue mascara from a Japanese brand and I loved it to death~ but they changed the brush design so I can't find a blue mascara I like anymore... until this came along... just newly released in late 2007!
  • Georgia "peaches and cream" Powder by Benefit Cosmetics

    the powder gives a healthy orange glow, and even tho I usually go for pinkish powder / blush, this is still one of my fave products! cuz I love the packaging! giant peach on cover~ haha ^O^ plus, it has this delicate peach scent~
  • Lash Queen Mascara "Feline Blacks" by Helena Rubinstein [limited edition]

    looove the leopard print packaging!!! just having this makes me happy~ sooo cute! haha
  • Yves Saint Laurent Lip Twins

    the cylinder conceals two complementary shades of lipstick (satin and sheer) along with a mirror... just twist the thing to reveal the particular side you're looking for~
  • Yves Saint Laurent Touché Blush

    I bought this powder blush for its innovative design~ the puff is attached directly to the thingy along with a mirror at the top cover~ I used to like this, but now I don't really like it anymore... still prefer the traditional way of applying blush with a brush~
  • Coco Mademoiselle Solid Perfume
    by Chanel [limited edition]

    I love solid perfumes cuz they're elegant, discreet, and perfectly portable~ combine that with Chanel's *gorgeous* gold compact (which is quite weighty but that shows just how luxurious this feels) and I'm sold!

    friend gave me this way back in late 2006 along with the hand cream shaped exactly the same way just slightly bigger~ isn't it absolutely adorable? ^O^ I freaking love this thing!!! it has peach smell, of course! oh and the company also makes apple ones and orange ones~
  • it comes in this special white leather pouch and the inside is all golden... so sleek! I love the whole packaging~

What's in My Makeup Bag?

I got a new cosmetics pouch in early December 2007~

I didn't realize I'd already used my previous pouch for like 6 years! O_O then I noticed the other day how it's all broken at the sides... so I had to look for a new one. I actually was a bit hesitant in getting this one at first cuz I don't really like polka dots.

but then after searching couple rounds, I still like the whole design of this one the best! cuz there are additional inner pockets (sooo few cosmetics bags come with that but it's the one thing I look for) plus, the zipper opens all the way and you can open the whole bag up wider, which means it's easier to get things~

it's water-resistant too and quite a big pouch! I was also looking at this Betsey Johnson one (with leopard print and thunder, haha) but it's smaller and yet cost more! so I finally got this... factoring in additional year-end discounts and it's slightly cheaper than usual ^O^

so I've been using this for a month now and I absolutely LOVE it!!! it makes me that much happier everyday when carrying this around~ sooo cute~~~

oh and I usually only carry the pressed powder compact and blusher with me... plus the solid perfume and lip gloss on occassions~ all the other things, I'll leave at home cuz I'd complete my makeup before I go out anywayz so there's really no need to carry tons of stuff everywhere with me!

    cuteee! thanks for all the notes. i have a regular little makeup bag from clinique without dividers--i didn't know that people made makeup bags with multiple compartments (that are the same size as yours)! so innovative. thanks for giving me the idea. i'd looove a bag with multiple compartments.

    this inspired me so much that i think i'll take my own makeup bag photo tomorrow :)

    hmm... i probably didn't explain it well enough... it's not exactly dividers or compartments per se... there are just little pockets lined at the two sides of the bag.

    i put little things like cotton swabs, band-aid, toothpicks, a pack of blotting paper in those pockets. i like to have my things neatly organized so when i look for a makeup bag, i check whether it has inner pockets or not.
