wow...nicely done. 梯田 in Chinese, correct? I wonder if these farmers are benefitting from the rise in rice prices..

That's right David. I don't know how much they benefit from rice price, but they certainly do from tourism. They charge 10 yuan for taking you to the viewpoint, and 5 yuan for standing at the viewpoint. I saw a woman easily made 100+ yuan in short one hour, catching up the American wage.
