Yup. Except I much prefer the look of film grain to digital noise. But YMMV.

It's pretty stunning at ISO3200 as well, but that's another story.

Is 3200 the film or are you pushing 1600?

Pushing 1600 (but not this time). It'll even stand pushing to 6400, but then we're talking grain like golfballs -- it can end up looking like a dodgy charcoal sketch.
