Soldier

odd pattern on underside of wing--indicates Soldier

Among the hundreds of Queens in the garden at the World Birding Center headquarters at Bentsen Rio Grande State Park were a few Soldiers. The odd pattern underneath is the easiest identification clue. I never did get a dorsal shot.
