During PBS’ HALF THE SKY session at the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday, July 22, 2012, featured participant Urmi Basu, actress and participant America Ferrera, New York Times columnist and Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter, Nicholas Kristof, actress and participant Diane Lane, actress and participant Meg Ryan, co-author and Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter Sheryl WuDunn, and executive producer and director Maro Chermayeff discuss the international journey they took and stories of challenge and triumph they discovered confronting the oppression of women and girls.
