New Quebec City

New Quebec City by Payton Chung.
This new square, lined with new offices and apartments, overlooked by a historic church, stepping down to a tremendous waterfall (not visible here due to tree cover), and all atop underground parking, is quite possibly one of the finest new public spaces I've seen in recent years. And yet it's so unremarkable by Québec standards that it's called just Jardin St-Roch, a name I had to hunt around for. (Square St-Roch was already taken; it fronts the church in the background.)
