This photo makes me want to eventually move up to a bigger digital camera. No way I could catch this with my simple SONY point & shoot digital (its good though for as much as I take photos, don't get me wrong)

I use a pretty simple point-and-shoot, the only ultra-compact wide-angle camera for sale at the time, and its lens often has trouble with the dynamic range that these night shots require. (There are obviously even more compact, even wider-angle ones now.) Indeed, I barely know how to operate an SLR.

If I had grilled the salesman at CIRCUIT CITY more, I probably should've gotten the next model up, which was $30 more. It had a few more extra bells & whistles like my first SONY had (I accidently broke the LCD screen in Sept. and I was in a rush to get another one before I went to my cousins wedding in NY a couple of weeks later).
