Prague is said to be one of the most beautiful cities around the world. Believe me or not, but most of the people who live here probably don't think about it like that. No, usualy it's not because they don't like it here. The city just became ordinary for them. They have to go to work, to school, go shopping, go home every day and just don't care about what's around them. Well, I know what I'm talking about, I am the same.

It was beautiful autumn day and I didn't want to stay home. There was nobody to come out with, so I decided just to go "somewhere". As I walked through the city, I got to Old Town. There were lots of tourists everywhere. I decided to behave as if I was one of them and got to Old Town square. It may seem strange, but I quite enjoyed it. As tourist :-), I had to visit observation tower there. I really liked it! The picture you see here has been taken right from this tower. You may take it as an attempt to share my impression from this place that day.

Let me just add a couple comments: The Velvet revolution took place in 1989 and it actually refers to a non-violent revolution in Czechoslovakia that saw the overthrow of the Communist government and thus it doesn't have anything in common with separating Czechoslovakia. Czechoslovakia has been peacefully separated in 1993 - just like it is mentioned in the article I'm refering to. I just had to mention this, because the year 1989 is very important in the history of former Czechoslovakia. ;-)
