How it Ends
The final snap of the road trip. 3 weeks, 5000 miles, 1 friend moved to the west coast. On this day, we tried to reach Crater Lake in Oregon. Bad roads led to delays and by the time we got to the lake, the sun was down. All that was left was the silhouette of Crater Peak and the last beautiful colors of the day and the trip.

Ty Cobb
when i was younger, i had this photo of Ty Cobb on my wall taken by Charles M. Conlon..a great shot of him sliding into third base. Conlon, who had his camera set up on the field near third, claims he doesn't remember taking the picture because he was trying to get out of the way of Cobb's flying spikes. Reflex and instinct assured he pressed the button.. and the result was an awesome happy accident.

Calif-arniacould be California, could be Narnia.. we took a wrong turn somewhere and ended up on this road that wasn't on the map..i wonder if that's on purpose. it was an unreal scene..every turn led to something else amazing. as far as i know, some lucky farmer owns all this land. best wrong turn ever.
