I haven't had the camera out recently, I got it out just to clean it but soon started snapping a christmas robin Laura and I bought at the weekend. Before I knew it the front room became a studio and I was using our uplighter the bathroom mirror and some confetti, present bows and a cushion! Anyway I'm pleased with the results. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!

Driving back from work today - between Calverton and Whaddon, I drove into this storm - the rain only lasted about 3 mins but it was pretty intense while it lasted. Luckily I got this shot before my camera got wet!

In-between waiting for the drivers to arrive at the Grand Prix I was watching the "real" photographers hoping they would give me a clue as to when to have my camera ready - unfortunately they seemed a little... erm bored! nice kit though...

Trying to get a good sharp shot of a car as it sales past at 200mph is more tricky than I thought. For the 4 or 5 shots I have like the above I have another 100 that are out of focus out of frame and destined for the recycle bin! This one however came out quite nice!

I went to the zoo with Laura at the weekend for our 3 year anniversary. Had a great day in the sunshine and it gave me another chance to use my Zoom Lens. I must have a good copy it makes some nice images. More than adequate for capturing happy memories! - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ring-tailed_Lemur
