One advantage of living in both vermont and boston is that I get two falls with different trees - both spectacular. In vermont, I don't have Oak trees around my place - a mixed blessing since they add color to the end of fall (they hold their leaves for months and have some oranges and reds that Maples don't) - but also, they have acorns - which are a cause of Lyme disease (white-footed mice + deer = lyme disease).
