1st day of Winter 2006

I finally decided to go snowboarding today - haven't felt 'up to it' so far this season. Its also the first day of Winter, Dec 21 - shortest day on the top of the planet. Stowe got a bit of natural snow yesterday, and has been making snow as much as possible.

@Sanja - lucky but the snow is limted to the mountain tops - still brown and green at home.
@Suoz - yes, cameras are for taking photos - though today I took my pocket camera (sonyDSCT1) because I hadn't ridden for 7 months - I fell a couple times finding just how far I could push the edge in the current snow conditions. Friday I'll take the Nikon if we have good light.
@kelly - me too, we will get a mix on sunday and back to snow on monday - just in time for a touch of white xmas
