Known as Quatermass II here in it's native England. The first film being called The Quatermass Xperiment ['X' being a prominent letter in 1950s science fiction].

      Jolly nice poster!

Another excellent movie! As a matter of fact, all the Quartermass films are worth viewing, especially in contrast to the Hammer films from the same time.

The Quatermass films were made by Hammer, all three of them. The two Brian Donlevy Quatermass films were very early Hammer outings as was the equally superb X the Uknown with Dean Jagger. Quatermass and the Pit [the 3rd film] with Andrew Kier came somewhat later and does - I grant you - cut a far superior swathe to some of the cheesier & more exploitive films Hammer were starting to make at the time. I remain stunned though that you could applaud all three films and a/ not notice they were made by Hammer and b/ not be able to spell Quatermass!

You can't spell Quatermass either, doh!
