I still remember the x-ray testing trucks that visited my neighborhood in the 60's. I didn't miss a chance to get on board. You'd get a post card in the mail several weeks later with the good news. The whole TB program was overdone and exposed children to unnecessary radiation.

I used to have borderline TB tests when they did the tine test (I've worked in healthcare for a kazillion years) and I had to get a hang-danged chest x-ray many a year. I glow in the dark now, but no TB.
