Long and tiring day

I rented a de-thatcher from Home Depot today, and the de-thatching itself went pretty well; only took me about 2 hours. But then we had our whole yard covered with tons of dead grass and we had to rake it all up and dump it in the field.

Fortunately, my hard-working wife raked up the grass into little piles while I ran the wheelbarrow. I can't even imagine how long this would have taken if I would have tried to rake it all up myself! Oh, I almost forgot, Gracie and Micah kinda helped us, but they weren't really super interested in all of our "fun."

To make the day a little more exciting, it was off and on downpour rain all day long!
