Thanks to my friends Sarah and Chris Rhoads for helping me connect with this Goose. Quick iPhone photo to capture it, just minutes from arriving at my home. Sweetness.

I have gotten so many nice emails over the past several months so I wanted to just post a little "hello!" to my peeps and well-wishers. To those who have asked, I have not posted any new photos to flickr since the episode of the stranger stealing images of my little son and pretending to be his mother. That really freaked me out, and if you are a mother who posts photos of your children at free will, please be careful. The internet is a wonderful place and I love it, but, please know, not everyone has good intentions and please please please protect your children. I have always watermarked my work and thought that was protection enough. It wasn't.

We are all well and healthy and happy and I'm still taking photos! My littlest will be three tomorrow (!) and we are just soaking it all in. Life is good.

A special thank you to my dear friend Erika Jessop, an amazing person, artist and illustrator whose work can be seen across our beautiful continent in homes and bookstores, and also in most rooms of my home. What a pathetic excuse for a human.

Somebody by the screen name of CBradshaw on cafemom.com has been stealing and posting photos of my son, claiming him to be her son, and the photos to be hers. What an idiot. I've reported her to cafemom.com. I have no tolerance for thiefs, this is now in the hands of legal counsel.

She's since deleted all MY photos.

She's so pathetic she has posts claiming "he" woke up several times the night before, keeping her awake all night, etc. etc. What a fantasy she was living. Wonder how creative she'll be behind bars? Gray walls. Concrete beds. Oooh, sounds inspiring.

Erika and Brandon are married! Wow! What a beautiful day filled with love, laughter and a few tears. Congratulations!
