The "carnivore" is a nice touch. We actually have digestive enzymes in our saliva to break down complex carbohydrates, but NOT the type of stomach design that your average carnivore has to handle meat. www.lhasaapso.org/articles/carnivore_diet.html The meat basically goes rancid in the body of humans before it's fully digested.
The consumption of animal products (especially the protein in cow's milk [casein]) has been strongly correlated in many scientific, peer-reviewed studies (read the book The China Study if you dare) with the promotion of cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol (just to name a few). The strict consumption of non-animal products correlates strongly to the stopping or reversal of these conditions when they're caught early. It's just the way it seems to work. For those who are into saying that it's genetics, it doesn't appear to be...only 2-3% of the time is it actually genetics.
Everyone has a right to choose. <3
(Well, except for the animals.)
And, for the record, I love the shirt "Meat is Murder - Tasty Tasty Murder!" I'd never wear it, but...I do appreciate irony/humor.
