Half Dome from the Panorama Trail

When you hike the panorama trail in Yosemite, you get views of Half Dome from three different sides. This is the narrowest view. The hiking trail to the top is on the opposite side, and the big wall climbing face is on the left. Looks really cool at full resolution. The clouds off the back of Half Dome are caused by wind sweeping up the range, carrying water vapor that condenses in the cooler air, then drops down to warmer air and evaporates. This forms a lens shape, or lenticular cloud formation.
