So here we go...I hope you've enjoyed the recent panoramic shots of "Bumpass Hell" in "Lassen Volcanic National Park"!? This is really a great place to hike and to be very close to the nature.

You may think this could be a small pond for cute fishes, but if you look closer you'll see some bubbles because of the boiling water or whatever fluid it is.

Looks a liitle bit like a "way to heaven", though it's more the opposite if you see the surround area.

witches' caldron || Hexenkessel
Just a few steps away from the center of this "wichtes' caldron" you shouldn't have a high-sensible nose - the sulphur smells quite strong here.
