Luna Moth

Luna Moth by Paphio.
It is the first time I caught a moth. I guess I was lucky because moths are mostly active at night, and live for a short period only.

Gorgeous luna moth! I saw one once
mine was green, and was caught on the
screen of our screen door a very long time
ago. I never saw a white one!

Beautiful! One of the best luna moth depictions I've seen. You might even want to set up a separate set called "butterflies and moths" since you have so many nice ones! I live in Oxford NC and have only been lucky enough to see a Luna moth twice in the last six years, by moonlight and street light, of course.

Note: I believe all Luna moths are green. It probably looks white due to the photo exposure. It is very difficult, if not impossible, to accurately capture the actual color and beauty of these moths. This photo is one of the nicest I've seen.
