This is the invitation into one of the groups of the "Amazing Image" flickr group series.
I selected your photo for inclusion in my Amazing Image project which consists of linked flickr groups. With this invitation you have the chance to contribute to the early phase of a project which might evolve into one of the most exiting places in flickr. Getting invited by an administrator is the only way to get your image into one of those groups.
I created more than 100 flickr groups in the Amazing Image flickr group series . There are that many groups to be able to sort any photo encountered in a group pool or search or in the explore pages into a group with a narrow topic. Many of the groups are still empty or only have a few photos in them until I find and invite suitable high quality photos. The average photo in my groups has about 20 to more than 100 favorites and a lot of comments. Those are just almost inevitable on the photos I look for and play no part in the selection itself.
I only invite photos that show a large version in the flickriver.com tool. So checking out my groups with this tool is a remarkable experience. You only get high quality photos shown big enough to properly view an appreciate them. You can test it yourself with the badges shown below. You may notice that I did not pay attention to size when I started inviting. Now size is my most important selection criterium. A photo that is only shown small in that tool will not get invited.
All people are welcome as members even if they don´t have photos to contribute.
Just click here to get to the group page of the central administration group Links to the already active groups can be found there. I personally have just 5 or 10 photos among 8,000 that fit well into this group series in quality and popularity.
This group series aims at inviting some of the most amazing images found on flickr to create amazing quality group pools concentrating on a narrow topic in each group.
I know that your image is one of the most amazing that can be found on flickr and likely got a lot of attention and invitations already. I hope you don´t mind to accept just one more invitation.

In contrast to a normal flickr group the administrator selection of all images in the Amazing Image group series makes sure that all the images in the group have almost the same high quality as the photos shown above.
