      wow thanks for taking us there...I have seen Ranier only from down below. I'm guessing this is dawn. I have a friend who did Mt. Washington and they left well before dawn and got to the top just after sunrise.

      It really is beautiful from up there! Having lived at the base of Mt. Rainier most of my life, I have always wondered what the view would be like from the other perspective, standing on top and look down. If I ever get my act together, maybe I'll get there someday. Thanks for sharing your great pictures!
