Dynamic Serenity

These ripples at Lake Louise provide a kind of dynamic serenity. Was able to get to the lake from Banff for sunrise last week on a trip. The quiet was palpable. The ripples were provided with a little snowball and added a sense of dynamic movement to the moment.

This is from a hike up Tiger Mountain in Issaquah, Washington on January 24th, 2009 with my hiking buddies, Brad and Chris. The weather has been foggy this week but we punched through the clouds about half-way up and we treated to a beautiful view.
