Which way did he go

Which way did he go

Cynophobia ( /ˌsaɪnəˈfoʊbiə/; from the Greek: κύων kýōn "dog" and φόβος phóbos "fear") is the fear of dogs.

I often take the dog out back so he can, in the search for lizard’s, wreak havoc with the flower beds. Base for the little guys seems to be in a very large bird of paradise plant that has some kind of flowering vine that covers it each year in search for the sky. This Green Anole is 6 feet up that vine, the background is the house. Sometimes I think they toy with the dog (or maybe it is just the dog) , they will run fast for 10 inches and freeze, he bolts out 3 feet past them in a frenzy. Then he stops, whips his head around in wonderment as to how they disappear like that.

Eastern Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly

Eastern Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly

Of my butterfly pictures the Eastern Tiger Swallowtail I believe is the largest of the butterflies. Several types of swallowtail and some Sulphur Butterflies seem to most enjoy the Carolina Jessamine
