Restaurant Portrait
I often pester my husband to let me take his photograph while we're waiting for our food. I get two, maybe three shots before he's had enough. On this day we were at a bistro in Le Viaduc des Arts. As luck would have it, there was a black curtain behind him, and a massive arched window lighting the room.

My first time playing with soft boxes and pocket wizards. Our volunteer model, Claire, was incredibly patient while each student took their turn arranging the lights and shooting. I tried a variety of set-ups, but this one was my favourite.
