Rs 3500 Bike |
One of my friend wanted to buy a MTB
& was asking me which one to buy
from long time. But my friend have two
contradictory requirements for the Bike,
1. Budget not more then Rs 3500
2. Bike should look decent like a MTB of Trek, Cannondale etc
Actually my friend's requirements are not contradictory, but designers of the Indian bikes had made them so. We checked-out Bikes at few Local Bike Stores(LBS) & got disappointments. I don't understand why Indian Bike manufacturers are unable to make a simple design. All designs of the frame were crazy, atleast in the Budget of Rs 3500. I remember in past Indian Bike manufacturers have Kickass models like Hero Ranger, Hero Impact, BSA Street Cat, Hercules 9000 Oversize & lot more which are good looking, good quality & Cheap. Finally, i suggested my friend to buy a Hercules MTB Thriller (Single Gear) for Rs 3500 & i said my friend that, i will do few modifications in this to look it better. My friend purchased that Bike & i removed the Mud-Guards & the Side-Bars from the handle. We also changed the crazy big saddle of the Bike with small one(this was exchange from Bike Store Owner without any extra cost). Check out few photos of my friend's bike here
