ResQdog51, thank you for visiting and your lovely comment. It's right on the edge of the beach before you enter Stanley Park. BTW, if you are there, make sure you check out the blue herons. They have built so many amazing nests above the trees right next to the residential buildings (near the Fish House and the tennis courts). And it's their matting season. Must see. Good luck.

I think we entered Stanley Park from the other side, perhaps... we came in off of Davie St. I don't remember a fish house, but I do remember an apartment building with a tree on top of it that a native (to Vancouver) fellow told us was designed to look like a giant hypodermic syringe.....?

We went past Lost Lagoon, and we hit Second Beach.. but everything else we pretty much drove. Stopped at the light house near the Girl In A Wetsuit sculpture long enough to get out and photograph a seal, but...mostly we had to drive the rest of the park. Where were the nests? I'll have to look for them next time we go up that way!

ResQdog51: If you find the blue herons, you go towards Stanley Park from Sunset Beach. When you see these rings, you are near. Right before the entrance to Stanley Park, there's a small street into a parking lot (you will see The Fish House and the tennis court nearby too), and the herons are right above you on the tree top. This year they come a large number, you won't miss it. Hope this helps.
