The Colorado River looks like a small creek from up here. But you caught the best colors in the Canyon. We live in AZ and we have been here twice. Your trip is NOT the average tourist visit to the south rim. I would not even go outside the observation building. Fear of heights. But this is incredible. How you got this shot I'll never know, but it was WORTH IT!

I'm sorry to disappoint but it is not the Colorado River in this photo. It is in fact Deer Creek which flows through this narrow slot canyon before falling into the river.
