jacket!

Found a big wool sweater. Shrunk it a LOT. Cut it up and reassembled, with zipper, button, and yarn.

This is BEAUTIFUL! And how trendy, you, with your intense purple and warmer purple, so in this year! God I love this summer's clothes and I can't flipping afford to buy every purple and violet and warm purps and vils I see! Old Navy was murder on me yesterday, I wanted to buy the whole dang store! But I was there for clearance pajamas. Made from Modal, mmmm, Modal! The day they bring that fiber to blended, or even non-blended, just straight up, spinning fiber, I will A) pee myself B) clean up the pee, and then C) spin myself silly until both of my feet can't treadle anymore and my thumbs and fingers are blistered from so much drafting and pinching twist, and my dye solutions are completely used up. God. Are any fiber manufacturers reading this? Hahaha!

But seriously. Great job on this. I bet it's supremely cozy, too, due to shrinking and thus fulling and thus less air-holes for your body heat to possibly escape ;) I'd probably add princess seaming to mine when I make one (You have no idea how many sweaters I've had to pass on because I couldn't unravel them due to their construction at Salvo, but loved the wool used in them anyway! So you can bet your bottom dollar I'll be keeping this in mind next time I go to pick up some yarny yarn unraveling sweaters!), to give it a little nip in at my waist, which could possibly provide some neat design features depending on whether or not the sweater I choose has a pattern to it!

      A+!
