Tundra Swan, Lake Mattamuskeet National Wildlife Refuge

These birds are so large even I can get a decent image of one in flight.

A Twilight Flight

The Tundra Swans were moving around late this afternoon -- too late for a sharp bird-in-flight shot, but I liked the effect the slower shutter speed gave this group flying just before dark. Lake Mattamuskeet National Wildlife Refuge.
