PADDYFIELD WARBLER

PADDYFIELD WARBLER

Pagham Harbour...Breech Pool.

It was a stuggle to get these images as the bird was very mobile, showing for a few seconds at a time and then disappearing. Now and again it would appear flycatching above the reedbed and almost immediately
dive back into the depths of the reedbed.
A frustrating time for the photographers but patience rewarded.

WHITEFRONTED GEESE

WHITEFRONTED GEESE

A flock of 7 birds have been present for a week or 2 but I have not seen them until today and then only briefly. This image captures them about to whiffle but I failed to get the photo I was after!

An obliging bird at Pulborough Brooks RSPB Reserve taken through glass at the information centre.
