1808_6397 Black Bear All Star Wrestling
People tell me they hate cliffhangers, so here is Part II of a III-part sequence. The water was flying - not the fur - as they swatted and shoved, both up on their hind legs for at least half a minute (although it seemed longer). What a sight! It was about this time that we began to realize this was not a serious fight. I turned to Mel and said, "I think she likes him!" and Mel agreed. They were having lots of fun. The male here is much larger than the female, and no doubt stronger, and there was no referee - but no bear was injured during this photo session.
