1811_1601 Grass Tangle
Same morning as previous image: sun low on the horizon, frosty grasses, clear sky. The only problem here was keeping the sun mostly hidden from the lens, to prevent flare. I love Nikon's 14-24 mm, but it can really scatter light in some situations. Lying flat, with my tripod legs splayed out as far as they would go, I was able to do this and simultaneously isolate the backlit leaves of frosted grass against the sky. This time I remembered to push any out of focus leaves out of the way.
